A construction industry buyer is seeking a UK-based supplier for the production of stainless steel connectors via stamping. Current production is outsourced to the Far East with an 18-week lead time, but the buyer aims to reduce this to a maximum of 12 weeks, ideally 8 weeks or less. The project requires batches of 10,000 and 20,000 units, with regular call-offs for ongoing supply. The connectors are to be produced from Ø8mm bar, with the ball end stamped.
