General Sheet Metal (2mm to 6mm) - PSL Review Requirement for Prototype Slave Cap for 2” Drum Bung Components

The buyer is undertaking a PSL review. The application is for a slave cap used during the painting of steel drums, designed to fit into 2” head bungs to protect the drum interior during the paint process. The current material specification is CRCA; the buyer is open to alternative thinner or lighter materials, provided they effectively fulfil the requirement of sealing the opening. This is a prototype-stage requirement, and a test piece will be required to confirm correct fitment before progressing further.
